The Word Works

Some Months back, I woke up feeling an excruciating pain in my back, left scapula, through my clavicle, to the joint of the humerus. I wondered what was responsible for it. I had to be adjusting and stretching my back after studying. For almost two weeks, I kept confessing God's Word and believed I had received my healing. Though the pain was persistent, I knew it was a deceptive feeling and just would not accept it.

Within this period, I went visiting an aunt of mine. While playing with her baby, I lifted him up and I felt a strange sound inside my body, around my clavicle. I couldn't move my hands, but I managed to put him down as the pain steadily increased. The next morning, I noticed a bulge around my sternum (chest region).

I decided to go for an x-ray because my breathing was also affected. The report from the x-ray showed everything was all right. There was no dislocation so I wondered, why the pain and the bulge that was obviously seen close to the sternum? Some pain relieving drugs were prescribed for me by the doctor and I felt a bit better after taking them, but I wasn't still comfortable with the swelling. Some weeks after taking the drugs, I felt the pain again but I ignored it and decided that this time, it was God's Word and nothing else. So I kept confessing the Word on healing.

On October 11 2009, Pastor prayed with me about it and I was glad because that stirred my faith and I knew that was the end of the pain. I have since been healed and I want to thank God for His divine touch in my life through the Pastor. I want to say that the Word of God works and He is faithful.

I am glad to be a part of this Ministry and I pray that God will empower the Pastors continually.
